Applicant privacy notice

Last updated 12 October 2026

This notice explains what Jiddat Labs does with the information in your candidate profile on this site and the applications you send with it.

What we keep

Your name, email address and a scrambled form of your password (we can never read the password itself); the profile you fill in, which can include your phone number, location, headline, summary, years of experience, skills, education, work history, LinkedIn and portfolio links, salary expectations and notice period; your CV; the roles you apply for and any note you add; and when you agreed to this notice.

Why

To consider you for the roles you apply for, and to contact you about other roles at Jiddat Labs that fit your profile. We don't sell your information or share it with recruiters or other companies.

Where it's kept

On Jiddat Labs' own server. Your CV is stored in a private file vault that isn't reachable from the internet, and only you (signed in) and the Jiddat Labs team (signed in to our admin panel) can open it. When you apply, our team receives an email with your name and the role, but not your CV or contact details.

How long

Your profile, applications and CV are deleted automatically 12 months after the last activity on them, such as signing in, updating your profile or a change to one of your applications. If we hire you, they become part of your employment records instead.

Your rights

You can see and correct everything in your profile at any time, and delete your profile, applications and CV yourself under Settings; deletion is immediate. You can also email jiddatlabs@gmail.com from the address on your profile.
